Jane Austen’s most famous work and a timeless literary landmark, Pride and Prejudice holds a special place in every avid reader’s heart. This copy is without half-titles, as often found in commerce. This timeless tale was first published in 1813 in three volumes and this two-volume edition was printed by the same original publisher for a final time in the same year of Jane Austen’s death, 1817.
Condition- Very Good, with few spottings in Vol I and scattered blemishes mainly to volume II. The book is rebacked with gilt title labels on spines, retaining contemporary half calf boards in excellent condition. Very few restorations at the bottom of a few leaves (without affecting text) are noted in Vol II.
