The book is profusely written in Devanagari and Sanskrit scripts in black, blue and red, and adorned with several illuminations from the Mahabharata. The manuscript is in its original red designed fabric cover and the book is in a slight oblong format.
The Gita (Geeta) is a series of dialogues/conversations between Prince Arjuna and his charioteer and Hindu avatar Lord Krishna (Kreeshna) during the battle at Hastinapur, between the Pandavas and Kauravas. The Bhagavad Gita, the sixth book of the Indian epic Mahabharata, has profound implications in the development of philosophical thoughts in several parts of the world.
