A nice early 19-th century edition of Smith’s foundational work on free-market economics. Smith’s ideas on economies are said to have heavily influenced the penning of the United States Constitution. Thomas Jefferson believed this book to be the greatest work on political economy in existence at the time.
Condition: Corners and some edges lightly worn, Hinge of the first volume is starting, with a slight tear near head, third volume with hinges repaired. Occasional light foxing to contents, internally the pages are bright and remarkably clean; overall Very Good.
